Getting Close!
We are coming close to the end of the school year.  Our students have to be just as energetic and enthused as they were coming in at the beginning of the year.  The NJ ASK is approaching and students should be putting forth greater effort with studying strategies in order to be successful on their test.  I would like to mention that homework is very important it reinforces the concepts learned in class.

During our Science classes students are learning how the BRAIN WORKS.  The study of Neuroscience during 6th through 8th grade is very important.  When students understand the mental developmental processes they are going through they are more prone to put forth effort in controling their behavior.  Assiting students by giving them a plan to think things through before reacting enables students to become proactive in their academic endeavors.

Our students are learning to breath effectively in order to stimulate neuron activity and to allow oxygen to flow to the brain.  Teaching students the importance of using techniques to heighten brain activity will create proficient scholars with an ongoing thrive to learn.

Homework is very important.  It is 20% of each student's grade.  Please ensure that homework is handed in on time.  Homework is assigned every week!  It is assigned on the first day of the week and due on the last day of that same week.  Every report should consist of 20 complete sentences arranged in 5 paragraphs.  Students can submit reports in prior to due date.  All work can be submitted before the closing of the marking period.
